Bought a stroller today at the best stroller store in Los Angeles

We have come several times to this store and the service has always been top notch very friendly salespeople who explained everything explained explained explained explained explained and shown. Lino the best shop assistant. He helped us put together a new stroller and didn't even ask for an extra charge for it even though he didn't have to.
We also asked for a discount on the stroller and the store owner a nice Korean woman gave us a discount. I recommend buying from this store as they always have the latest new products or the service is top notch

To describe my interaction with one of the salespeople was interesting to say the least… My mom had been looking for a car seat for when she has my daughter and I in the car with her and decided to come to Kidsland. My husband and I have the Evenflo 360 Extend Gold, so it doesn’t easily detach from our car at all. My mom asks the sales rep if they have Graco (what she felt was a reliable and commonly used brand) and he immediately said no but appeared to look my mom, my sister, my baby girl, and I up and down. He told us the cheapest car seat he had was $300 (we never even mentioned we had a budget). I explained to him that I am expecting my second child and expressed interest in getting a Nuna stroller this time around. No response or even a congratulations… We immediately all got uncomfortable and decided to leave. My mom and sister had just gotten off of working long hours, and were in uniform so I wonder if we were just judged and he assumed we couldn’t afford anything in the store? I don’t understand how you could even have a chip on your shoulder as if you’re selling Dior strollers. I’ve never heard of Kidsland so I was very excited to look around and spend the day with my mom and sister. I even enjoy spoiling my baby girl, so I entered prepared to get just about anything she had set her eyes upon that day. We tried to break the ice several times and were super nice to him but he was so judgy the whole time. Tact and humbleness goes a long way. I knew I wasn’t the only one because my mom and sister had immediately expressed they felt the same throughout the interaction.

I went into the store after my daughter's tutoring lesson, located in the same building. I should have known we were going to be discriminated. No one welcomed us, no one asked if we needed help; the customer service was non-existent. We were the only ones in the store. One of the store representatives was walking close to us but never said anything. It made me feel like they were assuming I was going to steal something. After about 10 minutes, a couple walked in and immediately the store representative starts asking what type of stroller were they looking for. We left right after witnessing the clear discrimination.

Great shop. Could be very overwhelming kinda like a bed bath and beyond place. Tons of products which is a good thing I guess. You can test try it next to each other especially car seats and strollers. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. They do validate your parking which is a huge plus! Will go back when we are ready to make the purchases. It’s a little hard to get too but they have paper instructions on the walls.

Had a great experience with this store. A huge selection of products, I was very surprised at how large the place actually was. Went in for a new car seat for my daughter, and was able to get a really great discount on a Clek carseat.

Do NOT purchase anything here during Thanksgiving week. I ordered a stroller on Blackfriday and waited for the shipment emails. However, I was not given any emails or notifications so I had to call the store to make sure if my order was placed. When I called, I found out that they in fact did not have enough quantity of products and asked me to wait until January. Additionally, they told me my order will probably be canceled since the seller of the stroller will not be able to provide enough quantity of products to Kidsland.

The person who I talked with on the phone was extremely rude and did not even apologize for it. She just told me it is what it is and there is nothing they can do for me.
How irresponsible.

Yes, I understand that there could be many people who would want to purchase a stroller on Blackfriday but the store should have been prepared for it. I mean.. they had black friday marketing for weeks and weeks.

Even if there were mistakes, they could have at least showed me a bit of emotions that they were sorry about this mistake.

Now, I am left with no stroller, missed out on Blackfriday savings on other websites and will have to get a full priced stroller somewhere else for my baby.

I will not make any purchases at this store anymore.
