This restaurant was introduced by my Italian friend. The tastes is local. It’s fresh pasta. The restaurant was pretty packed, but fortunately we were able to get a reservation one hour after we came. (Came about 8, got a table about 9:30).
(Ps. They don’t have tiramisu.)

Sans aucun doute un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal ! À tel point que je m’y rend souvent. La carte change régulièrement et en fonction des saisons, et tout est toujours délicieux ! Des antipasti, au plat, jusqu’au dessert, en passant par les cocktails ! Beau resto et toujours un service agréable et irréprochable. Définitivement recommandé

It was our first time at Rita and it was an amazing evening. The food was delicious ! We ate the buffarela with veggies, so tasty, we added the foccacia ( very good ), followed by beef shoulder, the meat melt in our mouth and lamb with pasta, the food was so tasty, well seasoned, the waiter very polite and knowledgeable about their dishes. We'll go back for sure.

Food was excellent but waitress was unbelievably rude, including giving attitude to my 89-year-old grandfather. I would consider not going back based off of this experience, although rest of the staff I interacted with seemed lovely.

Absolutely delicious.
Service was on point, waiters were attentive and always available.
Atmosphere was quaint, romantic, yet friendly for all sorts of occasions.
The food was scrumptious. The pizza was a must. The Caesar salad and Buffarella were great. The tiramisu was ok, a bit too liquidy. But the olive oil cake, was a staple. Really brings back the essence of Italy, authentic, and generous portions. I would return easily.
Reservations were required but it was not at all busy when we arrived. The terrasse is beautiful as the street is closed down for the summer and is quite inviting. A+++

My husband and I have been trying different pizza parlors wherever we go. This is one of our hometown restaurants.
We made a reservation, and I recommend one, especially on a Saturday night. The restaurant was full, inside and out. They have 2 settings, and they close at 10 pm.
We shared a cesar salad to start with a beer each. They don't have a huge selection, but it was ok.
We then had a pizza each. I had the Pepino, which was tomatoes, pepperoni, homemade peperoncini & smoked mozzarella. The pepperoni were small circles and perfectly browned. The sauce was simple and fresh. The cheese was ever so slightly smoked, so it did not overpower the meat.
My husband had the Calabrese with was Calabrian pepper cream, smoked Caciocavalo cheese, rapini & homemade sausage.
I really enjoyed mine and he enjoyed his.
Each was 10/12 inches. Most people can finish one because the crust was so thin, so it's not bready.
The service was amazing. All staff that served us were perfectly bilingual, which was really nice. They removed the soiled cutlery and washed the table between the salad and the pizza. Bravo, guys!
It was a bit expensive for what we had. Tax and tip was over $100.

Saturday night out, hoping for it to be good as it took us a good 90 minutes from Lavaltrie. Reservation for 8pm and we were seated right on point at 19h50. Nice welcome and smile from the hostess. Once seated, waiter comes right over, water and goes thru the 2 specials for the night and gives us a few minutes of a run down of the main menu pointing out different things, that was truly a nice touch.

we get a couple of drinks and order 3 starters and 2 main meals with a side basket of different breads.

Polpettes - La sauces une notes parfaites, tomaté, simple, gouteuse et d'une consistance parfaite. Le pompettes aurait aimer un peu plus juteuse et moi sèches, doit prendre couteaux pour couper. Gouteuse et bonnes.

Buffarella - Un fromage frais et parfait une fois couper dans l'assiette, texture parmi les meilleurs vue. le mélange d'aubergines et des autres aliments est très fort et vinaigré. Une grosse quantité alors si jamais c'est pas pour vous, tout y est mélangé alors pas possible d'isolé des aliment pour choisir ce que vous aimez. Peux être plus petite portion avec qq chose d'autre dans l'assiette pour les gens qui aime sans en raffoler.

Pain Charcuterie, je cherchais les charcuterie lol, plus un plat qui ressemble a un brunch du dimanche qu'une entré pour resto italien et pour le souper. Bien aimer l'oeuf parfait mi cuit. Pas sure du coté sucré de la garniture. Donne des points pour l'audacité de faire qq chose de différent et de nous offrir la chance d'y gouter.

Rigatoni - Portion généreuse, plat gouteux, chaud et belle assiette présentation, très agréable de faire so mélange avec la Stracciatella maison.

Pates pesto - Portion aussi généreuse et mélange parfait entre le pesto, rapini et saucisse de porc. Un peu trop d'huile pour nous, une fois quelle que nouille prise il faut tasser les aliment pour ne pas baigner dans l'huile.

Mes commentaires sont faite pour le plaisir, j'adore manger. Je ne me prends pas au sérieux et il faut pas lire de prétention dans mes commentaires. J'ai faites ces commentaires au chef avec un sourire avant de partir, nous allons retourner et note finale un gros 4.5 sur 5. Merci a toute votre équipe pour notre belle soirée, notre retour était plus rapide, environ 55 minutes !!!!

I have been to this restaurant a few times, it’s always full even in the week days, highly recommend make a reservation before you go.
The menu is small, mostly are pizza and pasta,like other italian resturants.
The sauce of pasta was simple and fresh, very tasty; The crust of pizza was so thin that it’s a bit super burnt. I would like to recommend their starter - Gâteau Savoureux, it’s well mixed with charcuterie, cheddar and salad, perfect egg on the top of dish, brought all flavors in the mouth, amazing!
About the services, depends on which waiter/waitress. Although some are in rush, they always clean the table between starter and main course, and change the cutlery
