Hello folks! I'm a truck driver and with my colleagues we picked up product at this location yesterday. Appointment for all of us was 7. It was a little slow and i was the first one in line and anyways they made me go to the parking area without attending my request and check in. A waste of time and no sign to follow instructions at all. I read instructions inside the location. At the office board, in a very small piece of paper on the wall. There is only one scale so even being first in line, they will tell you to wait for minutes (yesterday I waited 30 min) to hours. Today i have a delivery and we were all (my colleagues and me ) at 7 am. In line to go on the scale ready. All of the sudden a very not socially skilled guy with not a friendly mad face was waving his arms trying to tell us in his body language to go to park and leave the scale empty. We did it.

I couldn't explain that since there was no other priority truck behind us.

It's 10:40 am and I just went to their office since Ihave been here waiting for almost 4 hours. I told them that yesterday the process was faster and the reason why, explaining to the guy how the people managed. (Different people btw)I told him that the process is not working then. The guy just responded:" and that's your opinion" and his argument was the number of trucks coming. Well, yesterday we were 5 from the same company, today only 4 and 3 of us still here.

Well, what can I say. I guess people is in their comfort zone or optimizing processes is a privilege their employers are not willing to pay. Too bad.

Update: it’s 11:57 am and I was unloaded 1 hour ago. The guys unloading were very helpful and friendly. The process of all is slow because of the use of the only scale in the location.

Another scale would help a lot and a sign in big outside in the wall to follow the instructions and not giving us the illusion of being first lol

When you check in and check out you must go on scale and every time you need to go on the scale there are at least 3 trucks ahead of you in the line and each of them takes at least 15 minutes to get off of the scale.
Thats so stupid and time wasting.
The guys in the office needs be faster

This is the port of Stockton. Confusing roads going to the port. The dock is next to the scale they have in front of their office, once you are on the scale, go into the office to sign in. Then back into the dock blocking traffic and others that wants to scale and sign in. Expect around 4hrs or more doing the whole process.

Showed up at 7:05 this morning. Nobody to greet me. I went and knocked on the receiving door, then I knocked again after a few minutes, then I knocked harder. A tall scruffy, greasy guy answered the door. He had a long, nappy salt and pepper beard. Tried to hit me with the door. Started dropping f-bombs and cussing at me. I was taken back. Found out his name was pablo. I've never been flown at like that before for just knocking on the door. I know his lack of Education and his lack of a capacity to handle life got the better of him, so I will be understanding. I assume there's a lack of management here that they would let their employees get to the point where they treated their clients that way. I would be so embarrassed, if I was them.

One of the worst place I ever been in my life .they have only one dock and 5 to 10 trucks are waiting for there turn.but they give the first priority for there's own driver.person in office is very rude towards drivers too

Awesome place fast load time don't follow the GPS to get there take navy drive to the port gates then continue like normal

It was okay just nasty roads. Not really nasty just watch out before you get on the scale there's a big drop off. Other than that it was okay.
